Located at the heart of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, Bradfield City Centre sits on the doorstep of the new Western Sydney International Airport.
It will become a vibrant, 24/7 global city, driving advancements in industry and acting as a central gathering place for arts, culture, and entertainment.
A city of extraordinary futures
Bradfield City Centre will unlock new economic opportunities, create 10,000 more homes, and support 20,000 new jobs for the people of Western Sydney.
Advanced manufacturing and other future looking industries based in the new city will act as a magnet for innovation across all Western Sydney. This will create good quality and better paid jobs closer to home.
With more than half the world's population just a 14-hour flight away, Bradfield City Centre will also be a destination for tourism and entertainment.
At 114-hectares, the city is one of the biggest urban development projects ever undertaken in Australia and is the first major city to be built in over 100 years.
Bradfield City Centre Master Plan
Over the course of 2022/23, the Authority undertook a comprehensive co-design process to develop the draft Master Plan and associated technical reports. This involved extensive engagement and collaboration with Government Agencies through a formal Technical Assurance Panel (TAP).
Following endorsement from the TAP, the draft Master Plan was on public exhibition from 5 February to 4 March 2024. The Authority reviewed submissions and re-submitted the draft Master Plan.
The Minister for Planning and Public Spaces has now approved the Master Plan.
