Chief Executive Officer
Ken Morrison
Ken Morrison is an experienced chief executive and non-executive director of for-purpose organisations operating within complex environments. He is passionate about the future of our cities and has helped shape public policy and industry outcomes for two decades.
As CEO of the Bradfield Development Authority, Ken is responsible for delivering the new Bradfield City Centre and attracting investment to the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. The Western Sydney Aerotropolis and the 114-hectare Bradfield City Centre are the largest urban renewal project in Australia and leverage the $20 billion of investment now underway into the new Western Sydney International Airport and surrounding infrastructure.
He is also currently the Chair of the inaugural Board of Metropolitan Memorial Parks, a newly merged NSW Government social infrastructure and services entity. This appointment in 2023 followed his six-month term as the organisation’s Ministerial-appointed Administrator leading it through a merger and a governance, organisational and strategic transition.
Prior to these roles Ken was the chief executive of the Property Council of Australia, one of the nation’s most respected business groups, and a member of a range of industry and government boards and advisory bodies. He was a director of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council, a member of the National Affordable Housing Alliance, deputy chair of the Business Coalition for Tax Reform and he co-founded the Property Champions of Change to promote gender diversity across the property industry. Before this he was the CEO of the Tourism and Transport Forum, a CEO forum and the peak body for Australia’s tourism, aviation and transport sectors.
Ken holds an MBA, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has completed the Advanced Management Program with INSEAD and has undertaken an executive course in organisational renewal at Harvard Business School.
Executive Director, Infrastructure and Delivery
Gavin Boswarva
Gavin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the development and management of major projects across workplace, logistics, retail, and mixed-use sectors. His expertise includes leading mixed-use strategies, identifying and steering multi-billion dollar development pipelines, and establishing sustainable practices within large organisations.
Before joining Bradfield Development Authority, Gavin held senior roles at Stockland, Savills, AMP Capital, and Lendlease. At Stockland, he led the mixed-use strategy, with a $15b total development pipeline. He also pioneered the circular economy and decarbonisation strategy under Stockland's 10-year Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) plan.
Gavin’s leadership and vision have consistently delivered substantial stakeholder results and enhanced investment portfolios, making him a key player in the property development industry. He looks forward to contributing to the creation of an innovative Bradfield City Centre and attracting investment to the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
Executive Director, Strategy and Development
Natalie Camilleri
Natalie is a well-rounded strategist, with diverse experience in the integration of design, land use and infrastructure through delivery of major projects and precincts in Greater Sydney and NSW. With a deep understanding of the dynamics of growth and change, Natalie has worked continuously to drive collaborative efforts across government, industry, and the community to achieve better place-based outcomes.
Before joining the Authority, Natalie spent over 20 years developing expertise across multiple agencies including the Greater Cities Commission, Sydney Water Corporation, Transport for NSW, Roads and Traffic Authority, the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, and Landcom.
In 2020 Natalie was recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours list receiving the Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to infrastructure projects in NSW.
Executive Director, Research and Technology
Ben Kitcher
Ben is a mechanical engineer and has specialised in advanced manufacturing for aerospace.
He has developed manufacturing solutions for global aerospace companies and their supply chains and has built and sustained innovation groups which have grown the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing & Research Centre (AMRC).
Working on the development of technical strategy and partnering with local, national and international organisations, Ben has coordinated numerous support programs, developed a skilled workforce, and high value manufacturing processes for implementation of new factories in the Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Park.
Most recently, he developed the AMRC's electrification capability, building teams and capabilities in battery and motor manufacturing.
Executive Director, Skills and Industry Capability
Peter Mackey
Since commencing with the NSW Government in 2015, Peter has worked across various agencies including Trade and Investment, Industry, Treasury, Premier and Cabinet and recently with Investment NSW. His roles have included leading the State's export, small business, and international education teams. In his most recent role with the Trade team, Peter led the State's response to the impact of the pandemic on NSW exporters and international students.
Prior to joining NSW Government, Peter spent seven years with Austrade, posted as Trade Commissioner to Hanoi in 2010 and later to Singapore. During this time, he also held a regional role, as Education Commissioner, ASEAN, leading Austrade's regional education team promoting Australian education, training and research expertise across South East Asia.
Over the past 20 years, Peter has worked primarily in the education and training, ICT and government sectors.
